I knew about the novels, so I was really excited when I heard that

In my opinion, True Blood (http://www.stardvdcity.com/true-blood-seasons-12-dvd-boxset-p-197.html) is a very interesting show (http://www.stardvdcity.com/true-blood-seasons-12-dvd-boxset-p-197.html) that can bring us innovation, when compared to other TV Shows of the same style. It combines comedy (http://www.stardvdcity.com/true-blood-seasons-12-dvd-boxset-p-197.html), mystery, gore, overall being a very entertaining series (http://www.stardvdcity.com/true-blood-seasons-12-dvd-boxset-p-197.html), that does stand out from the rest of the shows of the same genre (the "vampire fever"). The actors are perfectly cast (Anna Paquin does a tremendous performance as Sookie Stackhouse), and so far the episodes have been way awesome (Season 2 was absolutly fantastic).
