They are all in the mail now. Some went out Tues, some Wed and Thu, and the last of them went out today.

Pretty much in order. Folks who just bought Sat went out first, then folks who bought both days went out next, then the Sun only folks went out last.

I have a few left, just waiting for some paypal's and some questions answered. But pretty much wrapped up. Whew! That was a lot of work!

I know some have already received them because I have heard back from a few. Hope you enjoy yours! What bike were you on?

let me know if you don't get it in the next couple days. cd's aren't the fastest thing through the mail system. i had a postal worker tell me once that they pull out all the cd shaped items and hand sort them because they are rigid and cause problems. the policy was created because of the volume that netflix sends and the tremendous number of problems it was causing in sorting machines.

be patient with them...it'll get there. (though if it doesn't...let me know)

I think it's funny that I send 51 full res pictures of two bikes over two days on a cd and people still go through and notice when I don't include a couple. Nothing wrong with it or anything...I just think it's funny. But I realize it's because people don't realize the following: To get the feeling of speed, I take many of the angles at tremendously slow shutter speeds. This results in a decent quantity of shots that are just not sharp enough for my taste. To me, it is a necessary evil and until I can get good enough to shoot at really slow shutter speeds while panning where I nail the focus on every single shot, there are going to be shots that are just not sharp and are therefore not going to go out with my name on them. I used to just upload all the shots on the web...but since a surpising number of people notice that a couple are not included, I have since started going through them and pulling out the ones that aren't sharp before uploading all the shots onto the web. Going through 7000 pics for that reason is a bit of a pain but it is an attempt to stop having to keep on answering this same question. But I still miss a few in that couple hours of review and I keep borderline pics in there just in case I don't have duplicates can be used instead. Then when I'm putting together each person's cd, I review them for a second time in more detail. I go through a second review process and ensure they meet my quality standards since they have my name associated with them and represent my work. Sometimes there are shots I notice that I missed or are borderline enough that I have to make a decision (especially when there are other similar shots that can be used instead). If there is only one shot of it or it captures a special moment or something, I will usually mess with it in Photoshop or do something to try to save it....but....I can only do so much and am not going to compromise my reputation for good shots just because I missed one and can't send it. Here's the story on each that you inquired about, though:

1998, 9443, 9444, 9445, 9446, 1953 you were not the main subject in the photo (a different bike was) and you are therefore not in focus, so I figured you wouldn't be interested in it and didn't include them on the cd. I will put them on a cd and get them in the mail to you.

9702 was not sharp enough and was exactly the same angle and shot as 9698, 9699, 9700, 9701, 9704, 9705, and 9708 that were included on your cd. Sorry, but I don't want to let that shot out.

9993 and 9994 were also not sharp but were exactly like 9809, 9810, 9812, 9902, 9903, 9904, 9905, 9906, 9907, and 9992 that were included on your cd. Sorry, don't want to let those out either.

7113 is another that is not sharp but was just like 7053, 7111, 7112, 7114 that were included. So another that I'm sticking with keeping it in the junk pile.

Sorry for the long explanation, but I find I just care too damn much to just give a short answer of 'no sorry, but i don't like that shot'. Hope you understand.

Also hope you're not dissappointed with the 51 that I did include, but I'll get the ones out that I said I would above. I just burned a new cd with all of them on there that I already sent, plus the ones you asked for above and it is in the mailbox already.

Fair enough on the ones that aren't perfectly centered. As far as issues involving photos not being in focus, bear in mind that I'm looking at lower res. photos on your website so it's more difficult for me to tell if it isn't perfect. As far as the ones w/ me in the background, I requested them because the other people in them are friends of mine and I personally like getting photos w/ more than just me in them. I had no complaints about the ones you sent and I don't think I made any negative comments about them.
